Executive Committee · Former hospital and pharma CEO
Paulo Nigro
Executive Committee Member
Tetra Pak. Aché. A cancer hospital. Then a nanobody.
A preclinical company does not need another scientist as much as it needs someone who has already run a hospital, a pharma P&L, and an industrial biotech — and knows which meetings waste a year.

Why a hospital CEO belongs here
During Nigro’s tenure, Sírio-Libanês was ranked among Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals, and he was named among the top five CEOs in global healthcare in contemporaneous 2024 coverage. That is not a PHP claim about PHP53-nb. It is a claim about the kind of operator sitting on the committee: someone who has already been measured by patients, physicians, and a balance sheet at the same time.
